This is Suzy. I also rescued Suzy from the pet store, she was overlooked because she was a little pudgy and grown up. Most people go in to buy the baby hamsters. When I first got Suzy, she would make this weird "purring" sound. I was worried and called the vet, but she said it was normal and she was just "talking". I've never heard a hamster do this before, but it sounded very cute. I miss that about Suzy, as she died of a disease last year.
