GREAT ALNE SHOW
10th June, 2006
My thanks to everyone for dragging themselves away from the footie and coming to the show, eighty four Syrians, seventy seven Dwarfs and twelve pets made it worthwhile.
Big thank yous to our judges Andrew Bryan (Syrians), Tim Groves (Dwarfs) and Pete Logsdail (Pets) also their book and pen stewards. A special mention for Catherine and Emily who were very committed to helping Andrew all day.
Fab food came out of the kitchen so I must thank Sharon, Laura and Rosie.
Lots of people helped on the sales tables and with the raffle, my thanks to all of them too. If everyone does a bit (including tidying up at the end) it really helps.
Finally I would like to thanks everyone, not just at this show, but at all shows for their kind concern over Neil’s health. He has been poorly now for over four years and still people ask after him. We are both deeply touched by this and he much appreciates everyone’s best wishes. He is making progress, all be it slowly, but does hope to lead a normal life again by the end of this year. Typically no BBQ this year and the weather was fab, all being well it will be on the agenda for next year. Please keep your fingers crossed for Neil’s good health and the weather!
